When I try to change email to new address it states that it is already taken. Why?

Email addresses can only be used to create one account. If you try to change your email address in your profile at MyHeritage.com and you get the error message 'This email address is already taken' it means the email address you entered is already registered at MyHeritage.com.

Either check the email address you are trying to register for typos to make sure this is the correct one or maybe you already registered in the past with this email address. In this case, please ontact our support team. 

You will be asked to fill in a short form according to your specific requirements.

This will then be forwarded to a support representative who will answer you as quickly as possible.
