How can I upload the raw DNA data of my family members?

As a site webmaster, you can upload DNA raw data of your family members on your family site.

Please note: if you have invited a family member to join your site as a site member, but this person doesn't have a card in the family tree, you will first have to create a person card in the tree and associate this person to the person card. Only then you will be able to upload their DNA data.

Please read the following FAQ to learn how to associate your site members to the  family tree: How do I associate a site member to the family tree on my site?

To import the autosomal DNA test results of your family member from Family Tree DNA Family Finder, AncestryDNA or 23andMe to MyHeritage please do the following:

Locate the person in the family tree and click on the 'Upload DNA data' option on the left-side panel.

On the profile page, click on the new DNA tab and follow the instructions on the page to upload your DNA file.

1. Download person's raw DNA data from the DNA provider.

For this, click on the DNA data provider's name on the left, and follow the simple walk-through instructions that show you exactly how to download the file from your provider's site and save it onto your computer.

2. As a next step, please read and accept DNA Terms of Use and confirm that you have a permission from the family member to upload their DNA data.

Then click on ‘Upload DNA data file(s)’ and select the .ZIP file you saved from your provider’s site earlier. You don't need to unzip the file.

If you click on ‘Upload raw data of a different person’, you will be taken back to the family tree, where you can select another person and take the steps described above to add their raw DNA data.
