If you cannot find your family tree, you should search for your tree depending on where you originally created it.
1. If you created your family tree directly on your online family site on MyHeritage.com, please do the following:
Open your internet browser and go to www.myheritage.com. If you are not redirected to your family site automatically, log in to MyHeritage, using the email address and password you provided when you registered.
Then you will be redirected to your family site, and will see your family tree under ‘Family Tree’ tab.
If you are managing more than one site or joined as a member to the sites created by other site managers, you can switch between them by clicking on the drop-down list in the left upper corner of the screen.
If you have more than one family tree on your family site, click on the drop-down list above the tree view in the ‘Family Tree’ tab to select the family tree project you would like to view:
If you are not sure which email address you used to register your account with, check your Inbox for the welcome email from MyHeritage.com that should have your log in details and a link to your family site.
2. If you created your family tree using our Family Tree Builder desktop software that you installed on your computer, please do the following:
Search for ‘MyHeritage Family Tree Builder’ icon on your desktop:
If you don’t find such an icon on your desktop, click on the ‘Start’ menu, select ‘All Programs’ and search for ‘MyHeritage Family Tree Builder’ in the list of all programs you have on your computer.
Open the software and you should see your family tree. If you have several projects, you can click on the ‘Open’ button to see the list of all projects you have and select the one you would like to work with.
